It’s Time to Start Planning Your Evening

If you’re attending WhiskyFest™ San Francisco, why not start planning your evening now, before you even arrive? We’ll make it easy for you!

We’ve posted the entire WhiskyFest San Francisco event program on our web site (you can access it here). It includes all of the products being poured, and where in the ballroom each brand will be located, along with the seminar schedule and a brief description of each seminar.

With only eleven days until WhiskyFest, it’s time to start planning!

Time is Running Out: Reserve Your Hotel Room

The block of rooms available at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis will soon be released. If you haven’t yet made your reservation, now is the time, because the WhiskyFest rate ($219 single or double) is only good until September 14 (or until the block sells out).

Hotel reservations for the nights of 10/5 – 10/9 may be made by calling 1-800-228-9290 and mentioning the WhiskyFest room block.

You can also make the reservations on line at Marriott.com:

300 and Counting!

Wow, I just took a look at the pouring list for WhiskyFest™ San Francisco, and there will be more than 300 whiskies poured on October 7 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis! (Okay, so I didn’t just look at the list, I counted it.)

This is another record-breaker for San Francisco, along with a record number of exhibitors, a record number of Craft Distillers, and selling out of VIP tickets in record time.

What a fantastic opportunity WhiskyFest is for the whisky lovers of the world. Be sure to buy your tickets soon, because this event will sell out soon!

Changing it up in San Francisco

Try something different at WhiskyFest San Francisco… Instead of a seminar, Laphoaig will be hosting a “Laphroaig Mixology Contest”. Local members of the US Bartender’s Guild will showcase their favorite cocktails using… you guessed it… Laphroaig. The contest will be judged by the dynamic Malt Master Ambassador Simon Brooking.

WhiskyFest New York Completely Sold Out!

Malt Advocate is pleased to announce that all WhiskyFest New York Regular admission and VIP tickets have  sold out.

The 14th Annual event will take place on Tuesday, November 1, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Times Square, in the Grand Ballroom. The event has always sold out, but this is, by far, the earliest sell out to date.

To be among the first to know about next year’s event, visit the Malt Advocate web site and sign up for email alerts.

San Francisco VIP Sold Out!

Yes, the VIP tickets to WhiskyFest San Francisco have sold out. But no worries, Regular admission tickets are still available.

With 11 seminars, a gourmet buffet all evening, a dozen craft distillers, and well over 250 whiskies (not to mention beer, cognac, tequila, rum, gin, vodka, and genever), there will be plenty of fun waiting for you at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Order your tickets today at www.whiskyfest.com.
